Starr Portraits

Julia Starr Strother is a traditional artist in her 20's. Located in Virginia Beach, she uses the large and diverse equine community as her inspiration for her equine art.

 

I am a self taught artist, having no formal education in art, and strive to improve my craft every chance I get.

 

My goal is not to draw the perfect horse. My goal, is to draw your horse.

 

 

Having 7 horses of my own, I understand that every horse has it's own personality, and unique traits. Those traits are what make each portrait an exciting new experience.
